Yes! Actually there are quite a number of houseplants out there that don't even require weekly attention. If you want a houseplant that isn't a cactus the best thing to go with is a plant called 'Pathos' or Devil's Ivy. This is by far one of the most versatile and easiest plants to take care of. This plant can send out long vines even if it goes weeks without any watering. It doesn't like direct sunlight which is one of the things that makes it ideal as a houseplant. A fun thing you can do with these plants is having the ability to shape its long vines and outline anything in your house. In terms of care, this plant is a cinch.

Many don't really think of them at first, but a cactus can actually make a fantastic house plant. They can add a unique and fun addition to the decor of any room you choose. And like all plants they have the added effect of serving as a kind of air filter, taking in the CO2 in the room and releasing fresh oxygen. In terms of care, cacti want to be left alone and are happy the less you water them. On average, house cacti only need to be watered on a monthly if not bi monthly basis.
